Wrecked Pre-Workout comes from HugeSupplements, a bodybuilding-centric company founded in 2019. They take pride in their quality and potency, and HugeSupplements products have high doses and large serving sizes to suit their image.

As a young company, HugeSupplements is continually testing and improving their formulas and developing new products. Wrecked Pre-Workout is one of their best-known products.

Initial Impressions of Wrecked Pre Workout

Packaging is key to marketing, especially when it comes to what you pick up off the shelf. With that in mind, we hate to say, the panther logo is goofy. Sorry, Wrecked – you’re doing a lot right, but that logo says “airbrushed Econoline.”

Opening up the package, Wrecked Pre-Workout was extremely clumpy – big chunks, little lumps, everything but a fine powder. Surprisingly, though, it mixed up very well. The Rainbow Burst had a muted yellowish-orange color that, fortunately, didn’t look freakishly unnatural like many other pre-workouts.

Energy Ingredients in Wrecked Pre Workout

  • Caffeine anhydrous 250mg
  • Di-caffeine malate 100mg
  • N-phenethyl dimethylamine 250mg

There’s no getting around it – Wrecked goes hard on the energy. 250mg of caffeine anhydrous is already a serious dose (3-4 cups of coffee serious), but they combine it with 100mg of Di-caffeine malate. Adding malic acid to caffeine helps extend the effect, so Wrecked can help you avoid the caffeine crash that could stop your workout cold.

On top of all that caffeine, Wrecked also throws in a hefty dose of N-phenethyl dimethylamine. If you don’t know, that’s an Eria Jarensis extract known for some strong stimulant effects. At 250mg, it might even be enough to give you the euphoric effect reported by some users, although we didn’t quite feel it.

Nootropic (Focus and Mood) Ingredients in Wrecked Pre-Workout

  • L-Tyrosine 1500mg
  • Alpha-GPC 600mg
  • Theobromine 150mg

If you’re pushing your body to the limit, your head needs to be in the game. Nootropics have become essential to so many athletes that if you find a pre-workout without any, put it back on the shelf.

Wrecked wants your head in the game. They’ve included three nootropics recognized for boosting mental clarity, focus, and memory. L-Tyrosine is a veteran, perfectly dosed, with excellent mental enhancement. Alpha-GPC is given a high 600mg dose for memory and cognitive effects, and theobromine increases memory under stress. Three big ingredients, well-balanced.

Anti-Fatigue Ingredients in Wrecked Pre-Workout

  • Beta-Alanine 3500mg
  • Malic acid 3000mg
  • Agmatine sulfate 1500mg

Wrecked is designed for consumers who want to go all-out from the beginning of their workout to the end. Just like with the nootropics, Wrecked Pre-Workout includes three ingredients dedicated to holding fatigue at arm’s-length and getting you to the next level.

At 3500mg, Wrecked has a prime dose of beta-alanine, but beware of the skin-crawling effects at that level. There’s also malic acid, a derivative of apples and other fruits, that adds to the anti-fatigue powers of beta-alanine. Wrecked also addes agmatine sulfate, which is less known than the others, but may increase pump and aid recovery.

Pump and Blood Flow Ingredients in Wrecked Pre-Workout

  • L-Citrulline 8000mg

Agmatine sulfate may increase pump and blood flow, but L-Citrulline is the real champion in that department. Wrecked has an optimal dose of 8000mg of L-Citrulline, a non-essential amino acid that opens up the blood vessels and increases blood flow. That pump support helps move oxygen to your cells and keep you going through the most intense sets.

Strength Support & Body Composition Ingredients in Wrecked Pre-Workout

  • Betaine anhydrous 3000mg

Unlike a lot of pre-workout formulas, Wrecked does not include creatine for strength support. They may assume that their clientele – serious lifters and athletes – may prefer to get their creatine from their own preferred sources.

But Wrecked Pre-Workout does include an optimal dose of 3000mg of betaine anhydrous. Betaine is more effective for body composition than actual muscle growth, helping regulate fat and increase lean tissue. You may need to pair with your own creatine if you want to see real gains.

Electrolyte Ingredients in Wrecked Pre-Workout

  • Sodium 196.5mg
  • Hydromax (glycerol) 4000mg

You know how quickly dehydration can break down a good workout; it’s the workout killer bar none. So we like to see a pre-workout formula that gives users at least a little electrolyte and hydration support. With 196.5mg of sodium, Wrecked can go a long way to keeping those muscles contracting.

Glycerol is often used for a fake-out pump effect – it engorges the cells and gives user the feeling of a pump that goes away quickly. But it also has value for retaining hydration, which the focus for the patented Hyrdomax product included in Wrecked.

The Extra Mile? Additional Pre-Workout Ingredients in Wrecked Pre-Workout

  • Lion’s Mane mushroom powder 600 mg
  • S7
  • Black Pepper Fruit Extract 10mg
  • Rauwolscine root extract 1mg

Wrecked Pre-Workout includes several ingredients that research indicates could have value in recovery, mainly anti-oxidants. Lion’s Mane mushroom powder, Black Pepper Fruit Extract, and Rauwoscine root extract all have some indications for anti-inflammation, cognitive recovery, and overall body composition.

S7 is a little more vague, a patented product combining ingredients including coffee bean extract, green tea extract, and turmeric extract. Without a clear dosage of each – and solid research on their effects – it’s hard for us to see exactly what to expect from S7.

Taste & Flavors

Wrecked comes in four flavors: Raspberry Mojito, Bomb Popsicle, Rainbow Burst, and Peach Rings. We tried Rainbow Burst.

The flavor was extremely sour, like the sucralose was completely overpowered by the citric acid. There was also a strong chemical aftertaste. Overall, pretty unpalatable, even for a pre-workout drink.

Who Wrecked Pre-Workout is For

Wrecked is great for consumers who want an all-in-one product with optimally-dosed ingredients for a heavy-duty workout.

Who Wrecked Pre-Workout is Not For

Wrecked is not for anyone with an intolerance for stimulants.

Potential Side Effects of Wrecked Pre-Workout

  • Stomach discomfort from high caffeine, malic acid, and agmatine.

Final Verdict

For the most part, Wrecked Pre-Workout is a solid product, with well-dosed ingredients in all the areas a high-intensity athlete needs them. However, the loosey-goosey approach to the extras, and the rough taste, keep it from being one of our favorites.
