According to data published by the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), Honda motorcycles are the brand most often stolen in the United States. From 2006 to 2009, Honda motorcycles accounted for 25% of all motorcycles stolen in the United States, followed by Yamaha (20%), Suzuki (17%), Kawasaki (11%) and Harley-Davidson (6%). All other brands combined accounted for approximately 10% of motorcycles stolen in this four year period.
