Prince William and long-time love Kate Middleton are not announcing their engagement or a 2011 wedding anytime soon.
A rep at the St. James Palace gave a report in a German tabloid claiming that William and Middleton, both 28, will announce their engagement this fall and marry next summer. The wedding date, claims the report, will likely be July 2, the same day the same day Diana and Charles wed in 1981.
This report was countered by a Royal rep to UsMagazine.com.
"What absolute nonsense!" the rep said. "This is nothing more than speculation."
He added about the couple: "Right now there [are] absolutely no wedding plans taking place. That is the truth."
