Former child actor Gary Coleman died today at age 42. Coleman is best known for playing the precocious Arnold on “Diff’rent Strokes.”
Gary Coleman fell in his home and suffered an intracranial hemorrhage injury on Wednesday. While in the hospital, Coleman's condition became worse and he slipped into a coma and was placed on life support.
Friday, Coleman's doctors removed the life support and Gary passed away.
Coleman began modeling when he was seven and appeared in TV commercials. He was cast in roles on "Good Times" and "The Jeffersons" before landing his big break on "Diff'rent Strokes."
Gary Coleman has faced health conditions in the past, had legal and financial troubles and saw his
career almost entirely dry up.
